When you contact us

We use the name, contact details, company and message you submit to respond to your request and discuss possible work. We store enquiries privately and send a confirmation and internal notification using Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter. We use these details to take steps you request before a possible contract, or for our legitimate interest in answering other business enquiries. We retain enquiries while needed for that discussion and any resulting work, and review records for deletion when they are no longer needed.

Optional website analytics

Only if you accept analytics, Google Analytics measures visits, referral/campaign sources, broad browser/device information, engagement, successful enquiries and loading performance. Your name, email, phone number and message are not sent in our analytics events. Google Tag Manager manages the Google Analytics tag. We do not currently enable advertising pixels, advertising personalization or session recordings. Analytics data is processed by Google and may involve processing outside the European Economic Area under Google's applicable transfer safeguards. The optional _ga and _ga_* cookies distinguish browser visits, normally for up to two years. Our necessary vb_consent cookie remembers your choices for 180 days. The website also remembers a language you select in local storage. Hosting providers may process request information for delivery and security.

Your choices

You can reject analytics and still use the website and contact form. Use “Change cookie settings” on the main website to change your choice. Withdrawing analytics consent clears the configured Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the active tracker. We retain minimal consent records—random consent ID, site, choices, notice revision, language and timestamp—for 180 days to demonstrate your choice. Consent records do not contain your enquiry or email.

Your rights

Where applicable, you may ask to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal data, receive a portable copy, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact us using the address above. You may complain to Portugal's data protection authority, CNPD, or your relevant supervisory authority.
